Get to Know your Industry Counterpart & other Young IRO updates!
Get to know your industry counterpart & other Young IRO updates!
Upcoming Intelligent Event:
Within our industry it’s good to focus on your core business, however sometimes we get so caught up within our own company’s activities, our role or our task at hand that we forget our industries environment and get stuck in an imaginary box. With our very first Intelligent Event of the year we want to get our Young IRO members out of the box, so you can ‘Get to know your Industry Counterpart’. Meet your fellow industry mates from various sides of the supply chain. The chain can only get better when all links are strong & polished, so help each other to strengthen the whole industry!
With pitches by Khalid Errabih, Vryhof Group, Daniëlle Keijzer, OOS International, Arjen Pattenier, Sif Group & The DOB Academy.
Time: 15:30 – 20:00 (Including dinner & drinks served by the DOB Academy)
Location: The DOB Academy, Delft
The venue can accommodate a max of 50 people, so make sure you register on time!
Looking back at a successful birthday party
Apart from our upcoming Intelligent Event we also celebrated the 1-year Young IRO Birthday party on February the 23rd at the CitizenM in Rotterdam. It was a lively event and we would like to thank everyone for making it such a great evening! We will keep you posted on other social gathering in the future.

New member in the board
Young IRO also has a great new member in the board. Nick van der Steen, Business Developer at Ridderflex & Plastics BV.
Nick: ‘I’m honoured to be the newest board member of Young IRO. I have supported this initiative from the beginning and I’m glad to be part of the team. The future is ours and there is going to happen a lot in the oil & gas and offshore renewables industry. Becoming board member gives me the opportunity to help growing the Young IRO and support young professionals to become the future industry leaders.’
No to be missed:
The Martime & Offshore Career event (MOCE) will held again on the 28th of March.
Lots of great companies from our industry will exhibit & host interesting workshops on the event.
Our board member Amanda Mackintosh will be joining the On Air talk show at Community square starting at 11:15 with the title: Young, Energetic and in Transition! The live stream can be watched on Maritiemnieuws.nl.
